I was hoping to be baby squishing, which i do through an agency and its very profitable at new year, but no-one has booked through the agency i use, so it looks like i will be spending it in the bosom of my family, which means i will have to listen to the half breeds next door till 3am cos their parents will be out clubbing, a midnight hubby who is tall dark handsome will stand on the step moaning he feels stupid, (well it had to sink in sometime and you cant have good looks and brains) unless your me lol and we will comment about how quiet it is and no-one comes out anymore, then we will go in and watch more crap telly till the fireworks finish at about 3 am and fall asleep. oh can i bear the excitement

and on a sunday too, it isnt like i go to church or anything, it was my central heating that woke me up, gonna have to get that sorted cos i dont do mornings, mind you it means i can get to asda for some veg nice and early as for some reason people go mental at xmas and new year and shop like its closing down.

im watching spartacus on tv i love the big old epic films, much better than some of the crap they churn out now,

Am i the only woman who loves this programme ? i would kill for a job on this show, ok i know buggar all about cars but what fun they have trashng them and driving to great places and dropping things on cars, and generally being daft, and they get paid for it, all right richard hammond was a bit silly recently but generally they do some cool stuff, hubby thinks its brilliant i will sit and watch hours of top gear and not complain,

Three quarters of the way down a bottle of amerula im feeling quite happy, and to hell with all the shit that usually swirls round my brain, i remember reaching the point at which i would stop drinking about an hour ago and thinking fuck it hubby will carry me upstairs to bed if i need to be carried although i did remmeber to make sure the leccy blanket was switched on lol, have also made numerous phone calls to those who i would normally need a drink to speak to lol and found the experience quite pleasant, must remember to slug a load of booze before i call them again

We all went boxing day shopping today, my brother who has just bought a new house but wont be moving in until end of january so will be staying with us (gawd help us) needed to get two sets of new sofas (jammy ba$tard) ok i dont begrudge him cos i know he works damm hard for his money and deserves it but it was so depressing buying beautiful sofas for someone elses house and especially two different sets of beautiful sofas that wont be anywhere near my house, i told him i may have to go to his house in the daytime while he is at work and pretend i live there, which he didnt mind but said i had to hoover while i was there, but that would spoil the illusion cos i dont hoover at home

I suppose i could write how busy i have been, which i have, or how bored of bloggin i had become, which i had, or how sick i was of the apparent cliqueness and bitchiness of some bloggers, which i was, but there was a big dose of couldnt be arsedness thrown in, i still read peoples blogs, well some but i just didnt wanna write stuff,

But i began to wonder if i might enjoy it again after being away so im gonna have another little go,

I have taken over my local freecycle group, i run it, i used to just moderate it but i sort of talked the girl who was running it into giving it to me lol, she was very busy and didnt have the time to really spend on it, and i thought it needed a kick up the arse, so i have changed a few rules and guidelines and got it running a bit more efficently and chased off a few of the people who just used to go on there constantly asking for stuff, dont get me wrong i dont think there is anything wrong in asking for stuff, but some people are so sodding greedy, i have really had my eyes opened running the group there was one person who asked for 15 different things in 13days, 13 large items by the way, we are talking white goods and big furniture, i remember writing the rejection letter to her last post and starting it with the words ` this is not argos` i would have loved to see her face when she read that

I also opened a freecycle cafe group for people to post helpful stuff on , its still in its infancy but people seem very positive about it. I also was busy losing 5stone in weight while i was gone lol, which shocked even me, its quite nice to go to `normal` shops and buy clothes instead of walking into evans and choosing something baggy, but its weird being chatted up, i dont think i will get used to that again, it freaks me out, lol, i come home and tell hubby who laughs his head off, just as well we arent a jealous insecure couple lol, the first time it happend after i lost weight i came home and walked through the door and said ` some bloke just asked me out` hubby said ` is he taking you anywhere nice then` my boy made me laugh, he said to me in the car park one day ` its nice now you have lost weight` and i said oh thanks sweetie but why ` oh he says we can park anywhere now we dont have to look for a big space so you can get out the door easily` i nearly died laughing, little sod,
